What the petition asks
MP's claim exorbitant amount for little things there is no check other than their own.. This would be totally outrageous in any other walk of life..
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The Government and Parliament aren't responsible for MPs' expenses. That responsibility was given by Parliament to the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) in 2010.
