Make it a legal requirement that if you hit a cat with a car you must report it.

What the petition asks

I have seen it all too often. A cat has been hit by a car & the driver, drives off. This was someone's pet, a member of the family. It should be legal for you to report hitting a cat - just like it is too hit a dog.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Make running over a cat and driving off without reporting it a criminal offense
