Spend ALL Surplus National Insurance Payments On The NHS

Closed 624 signatures

What the petition asks

Chancellor George Osborne is currently sitting on a £30 BILLION National Insurance surplus. Unable to spend it on anything else and unwilling to spend it on the NHS, he has chosen to let it gather dust while our NHS is desperate need of extra funding.
.
National Insurance money can only be used for the NHS or benefits. So since he can’t spend it on anything else and chooses not to fund hospitals, the Chancellor lets it sit there.

We need a lasting solution to fund a service we all depend on. So let’s fill the black hole and fund a new National Health and Care Service with our own little pot of NHS gold.

It is clear that the Tory government is trying to privatise the NHS through under funding until we have no choice but to privatise.
