What the petition asks
Most mum's struggle to fit into the work system after having kids, especially in the corporate world! So I am proposing a more flexible time for mums, so they can have a work-life balance and earn a living too.
They can work on a part- time basis. Starting from 10am to 2pm./2.30pm.

I have spoken to some mums and most of them complain about the cost of childcare.
85% will rather stay home to take care of the kids, because they can't afford the child care.
79% really want to go back to work, if there is more flexible job roles that can suit their lifestyle (dropping and picking the kids from school)

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government and Parliament. There is already a legal right for people to request flexible working from their employer.
If you want the law to be changed, to require employers to agree to any request from a mum for flexible working, you could start a new petition calling for that.
