Tougher legislation for manufacturers & retailers to reduce excessive packaging

What the petition asks
The excessive unnecessary amount of packaging on products is disgusting. You can see it on everything from food to vacuum cleaners. It is so wasteful and damaging to the environment, as well costly to local councils struggling to deal with the level of waste removal and re-cycling.
