What the petition asks
Tommie was born at 30 weeks and has cerebral palsy recently he has been assessed by a team at great ormond street hospital and has been told that a sdr operation will help him walk independently however the nhs wont fund it meaning £25 000 has to be paid by family/friends
To get out of his wheelchair tommie needs to raise 25000 pounds shockingly other families have had to raise much more to see there children walk independly
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition calling for the SDR operation to be made available on the NHS for all children who need it.
