What the petition asks
This deal between the EU and Canada fails to include any of the UK's Protected Food Names and would allow Canadian food producers to swamp the European market with Stilton, West Country Cheddar, Melton Mowbray Pork Pies, Cornish Pasties etc.
173 EU products are protected but none from the UK

CETA is a corporate power grab allowing transnationals to sue governments if their future profits are threatened, such as by health warnings on tobacco products, renationalisation of public services or returning the NHS to public control.
Protect our foods, small businesses and public services, and our government’s right to regulate for the environment and the public good.
Leaving the EU also gets the UK out of CETA and TTIP.
