What the petition asks
I believe that if the government is saying that a person needs to earn a set amount every hour to survive it is then wrong of them to take money off you in taxes from your earnings.
I think that if someone was earning minimum wage at £7.20 an hour and worked 39 hours a week for a full 52 weeks they would earn £14601.60
I believe that as a government you should make it into law that you can not be taxed on your earnings if you earn less then the minimum wage yearly total.
