A legal requirement for ministers to have worked in the industry they represent

What the petition asks
This country needs ministers who have worked in their industries as we have a health secretary who has never worked in the NHS or any medical environment, an education secretary who has never worked in a school or OFSTED...
We also have a chancellor of the exchequer who has never worked in finance, a justice secretary and former education secretary who has never worked in a courthouse nor a school, and this list goes on
We need ministers who have a deep understanding of the industries they represent, they have their own profession in their interests
So we are calling for a legal requirement of ministers to have worked in their respective industries for at least 5 - 10 years prior to appointment as their minister
