What the petition asks
This petiton is to request that the government make it compulsory for any halal foods to be identified/labelled in supermarkets, shops and any food retailers across the UK .
Consumers should have the right to be informed about the origins of their foods and any processes and methods of slaughter / religious rituals involved in the food production . Therefore consumers can make their own informed choices .
Why it was rejected
