Keep park run free at point of use

What the petition asks

Park run helps people to get in to sport and stops people getting ill. As a society we should well come that. This also save the NHS lot of money at time when there is not much money about. Park run is not race is more than that it is a community event.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The recent decision to charge for a specific parkrun was taken by Stoke Gifford Parish Council. Local councils are usually responsible for parks.
