Stop airline company's from charging extra to sit together

What the petition asks
Airlines charging families an extra £88 just so parents can sit with their children
Research by Money Saving Expert shows a family of four could be charged an extra £88 for a return long-haul flight with Thomson.
Not only are flight airlines playing on family's fears, they are manipulating the whole nation into paying extra to sit together when flying. In the past if customers wanted to sit together they had to book at the same time, however now even booking together does not ensure this.
Airline company's are using this fear to get more money out of customers.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is an operational decision for airlines.
