What the petition asks
With an official prediction of a 12,000,000 increase in population, mainly due to net migration, we have a major crisis requiring 1,300 square miles of land to accommodate them with a MASSIVE detrimental impact upon the environment and demographics. It is a serious threat and is unsustainable.
Official Government statistics show net migration of 1,000,000 every three years with a forecast increase in that rate.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. You could start a petition outlining what specific action you would like the Government to take.
