Make all G4S officers take mental health training as part of their training.

What the petition asks
In today's society where there has been an increase in individuals with mental health issues. After being wrongful discriminated against and after seeing the abuse to mentally vulnerable people by G4S staff, I believe that G4S staff should have at least a basic mental health training.
One in four adults in the UK will suffer from depression at least once in their lifetimes.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is an operational decision for G4S. You could start a petition requiring mental health training for all security officers if they hold a government contract.
