Petition · past parliament

For Nick Gibb MP to be removed from duty, due to a lack of local school places.

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

It's becoming harder and harder for parents to secure a good local school for their child. In many cases parents aren't being offered any of their choices and instead being given unacceptable school that are either too far away or in temporary locations. Tax payers deserve good local schools.
Nick Gibb MP, The Rt Hon Nicky Morgan and all other education parliamentary staff involved in school development and admissions needs to be questioned by an independent board and if found to have failed tax payers due to incompetence, be removed from duty.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for ministers to be sacked or fired.

You could instead start a new petition calling for an inquiry into the availability of school places, because this is something that the House of Commons could do. You may find that there is already a petition about schools which you would like to sign.
