Please include the UKIP leadership in the cross party televised debates.

What the petition asks
Should the UKIP leadership be excluded from the televised debates, then we believe that the upcoming televised debates would be unrepresentative of the leave vote and that large sections of the leave vote would be unrepresented.
The calls for, and the subsequent decision to give a referendum was largely driven by the grassroots UKIP voters, members, activists, MP/MEP's and UKIP's leader Nigel Farage.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. It would be up to television companies to arrange a debate and to invite people to attend.
