make sentences more for people causing death by careless/inconsiderate driving.

What the petition asks

I lost my mum December 2014 due to someone's careless/ inconsiderate driving. The person who did it shows no remorse and has no clue of the excruciating pain she has caused, I've been doing some research into sentences for people who have caused death by careless/ inconsiderate
driving it says the max is 5 years but most I can find people being sentenced is 2 years, majority of people getting 6 months, or most even getting nothing at all, they serve half of whatever they Are sentenced, a very small driving ban, community work, suspended sentence or a small fine. In my opinion this is not enough they have taken someone's life at the end of the day and this is a massive smack in the face for bereaved families and in my opinion sentances should be severely raised.
