What the petition asks

In 1989, governments worldwide promised all children the same rights by adopting the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, known as the CRC or UNCRC. They apply equally to every child, no matter who or where they're from. All children have rights, even those affected by conflict or emergencies.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, or UNCRC, is the basis of all of Unicef's work. It is the most complete statement of children’s rights ever produced & the most widely-ratified international human rights treaty in history.
The vote on the immigration bill in the house of commons on 25th April saw 294 MP's REJECT to help resettle 3,000 vulnerable unaccompanied Syrian children who will be prey to child traffickers exploiting them for sex, prostitution & modern day slavery
