What the petition asks
They lied and haven't sufficiently apologised. Lets close down this rag for good.
On the 15th of April 1989 the horrific Hillsborough tragedy happened in which 96 football fans died. This "newspaper" wrote damning headlines and damaging reports of events, reports that were beyond hard hitting, verging on vendetta driven. The editor Calvin Mckenzie and other journalists took this action to lie and fabricate stories to increase their sales, stories which were completely unfounded were published and families of victims endured pointless pain.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
