On the 15th of April 1989 96 people lost their lives and a further 766 where injured. The newspaper reported on the event telling many lies for no reason, slandering the characters of men, women and children from the city in what was an unfounded attack.
The front page of the sun newspaper reported that: some fans picked pockets of the victims. • some dans urinated on the brave cops. • some fans beat up cop giving the kiss of life.
