What the petition asks

We, the British people, will vote on the 23rd of June whether we leave the EU or remain.
In order to silence fear-mongering, we need a plan.
How about the Commonwealth of Nations, our friends that we turned our backs on 41 years ago in favour of signing up, unknowingly, for an EU straightjacket.
A free trade area between the 53 states of the Commonwealth of Nations would be within the interests of the British economy.
13 of these countries are among the fastest growing in the world.
“The Commonwealth is the ideal platform for business and trade… I hope that India’s ties with the Commonwealth will move from strength to strength, and that the new paradigm will only mean greater warmth, greater co-operation.” Kamal Nath, Former Indian Development Minister
The Commonwealth is the future.
