Amend Taxation Policies to Make All Churches and Places of Worship Pay Tax
Rejected
18 signatures
What the petition asks
Make all churches and places of worship liable for paying tax which is a fair and reasonable proposal.
From the Church of England alone, £60,000,000 could be returned to HMRC each year to help with funding the nation. An organisation that has income of £1000,000,000 can afford to finance itself.
There is no reason Churches and other places of worship should be tax exempt or reduced, non-belivers or athiest should not suffer the bill for any belief organisation, an organisation that has income of £1000,000,000 can afford to finance itself.
