Allow Doctors to Issue Temporary Disabled Parking Badges

What the petition asks
Many people leave hospital and are vulnerable and have extremely limited mobility. I believe GPs and Doctors should be able to issue temporary Disabled Parking Badges to help people with temporary issues
Many people leave hospital have had invasive or life changing surgery and are signed off work for weeks or even moths to recover. During this time no provision is made to help them access shops, pharmacists or even hospitals!
I would like to empower Doctors to issue temporary Disabled Parking Badges to help post operative patients rehabilitate.
These badges would give the bearer the same access rights as the current Disabled Badge scheme however they would expire as patients recover.
