What the petition asks
Britain is known worldwide for both it's excellent scientific research and sense of humour. NERC should accept the choice of RRS Boaty McBoatface (124,109 votes), rather than for RRS Sir David Attenborough (10,284 votes) and respect the true democratic result and excellent British wit.
