Overhaul the new Universal Credit system before it's to late!

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

The government need to make major changes to the rules and eligibility surrounding Universal Credit which is getting rolled out across the UK. Universal Credit will send millions of people and families into severe financial hardship. UC has already failed but the government say its a success.
The government isn't going to abolish Universal credit so they need to completely overhaul the rules, regulations & eligibility surrounding it. Unless you are apart of the wealthy 1%, UC will most likely affect you. UC will put extra pressure on the unemployed, self-employed aswell as part-time & full time workers.

The government also need to abolish the Minimum Income Floor or else thousands of small businesses throughout the UK will be forced to shut down. This needs to change!
