Stop the shooting/hunting of birds in Malta

What the petition asks
This is a serious problem with migrating birds. The turtle dove is in serious decline due to the hunting in this country. There needs to be a ban on this now
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We cannot accept your petition as the UK Government and Parliament don't have the power to take this action in Malta. You could start a new petition asking the UK Government to raise this issue with the government of Malta.
