Private, council temporary accommodation to allow pets (Dogs) in the houses

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

As a dog rescue and like many others, we are all getting more and more calls regarding people's dogs having to find new homes or rescue spaces due to private landlords and Council temporary accommodations. This is leading to high pressure on us and we need help to Change this.
Many councils and private housing won't allow pets and many people panic and advertise there dogs (pets) on selling pages and many end up going to dog fighting rings or to be used for breeding. We need help to allow people to be able to take there dogs with them.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

At the moment, this is a decision for private landlords and local councils. You could start a new petition asking Parliament to change the law, to require private landlords and councils to accept dogs or other pets.
