What the petition asks

Group b streptococcus (GBS) is a normal bacterium which colonises between 20-30% of women lethel to a newborn baby when in labour if not detected and passed on from mother to a baby with a average of 80 deaths a year and long term disabilitys most though no awareness

UK currently don't routine test for gbs and no information is giving out from health care teams I believe by putting 1 leaflet in every pregnancy pack it will definitely be read by the mother giving her a choice to test for infection privately to protect her baby awareness of this infection is extremely important
