Stop insurance companies ripping off young and disabled drivers

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

I am a 17 year old diabetic that has recently received an insurance quote of 10 thousand pound. This is an absolute abomination and I don't understand how they can umbrella every single type 1 diabetic, disabled or young person.
I believe that insurance companies need to be rid of the computers and assess each young person and disabled person on a case by case basis.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We're not sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
You could ask Parliament to change the law, to make it illegal for insurance companies to discriminate on the basis of age or disability.
