The Bank Of England Mark Carney should be sacked
Rejected
18 signatures
What the petition asks
The Bank of England Mark Carney today made a statement with regards to a Brexit vote and the effect on the economy. This is not his position to do this and should stay away from such subjects as he could affect the vote.
Mark Carney has over stepped his position and now may have affected the views of the public and there vote. This is not his place to make such comments in this sort of situation and any resulting vote may be null and void.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We can't accept petitions calling for people to be sacked. In any case, the Government and Parliament don't have the power to remove the Governor of the Bank of England.
