Parliamentary Candidates must have lived in the seat for 2 years before standing

What the petition asks

I find it undemocratic that Parliamentary Candidates can stand with no history or knowledge whatsoever of the seat, whereas you must be on the Electoral roll or live in the ward for local elections.
Here in North Dorset we had a very able local hopeful for the Tories, however the candidate selected was from the PM;s home town of Witney, having stood in the previous election in Cardiff.
This is the Westminster bubble in action.
