Minimum speed limit of 100mph in the fast overtaking lane on UK motorways could cut down on accidents that result in serious injuries or even death.
Statistics show most accidents on the motorway occur in slow moving traffic.
By introducing a minimum speed limit of 100mph in the fast lane on UK motorways could cut down on accidents. This could save millions of pounds annually.
Enforcement: A speed camera that is programmed to catch out motorists driving below 100mph in the fast lane on UK motorways.
Punishment: 3 penalty points and a £100 fine or a short driving test to test their ability to see if they can drive safely at atleast 100mph in the fast lane.
