Hold public consultation on NHS Sustainability and Transformation Footprints

What the petition asks
By June 2016, forty four geographical areas in England are to produce a five year NHS Sustainability and Transformation plans showing that they would balance their budget by eliminating all deficits in this financial year and implement new models of care as laid out in the Five Year Forward View.
We believe that this would have a profound effect on the delivery of local health services. It should be noted that none of these plans are based on evidence or assessment of clinical needs. Furthermore the plans have not been discussed in the House of Commons and there has been no public consultation. We demand that the government should launch an urgent public consultation on this major reorganisation of the NHS.
