What the petition asks
As a British citizen I feel it is my duty to help the Government develop policies that can help the British people, especially in this time of spending cuts that affect the majority of the population negatively.
The following quote from The Sun Newspaper tells us:
“THE Royal Family is worth a staggering £44.5billion — and brings in a further £26.4billion to Britain’s economy, a major study claims. And if it was sold off as a business, it would be worth more than Tesco and Marks & Spencer COMBINED.The total value includes £18.1billion of assets, such as the Crown jewels, the art in the Royal Collection, palaces and the Crown Estate.”
