What the petition asks

Following the quite frankly ridiculous injunction issued to Harlow council, banning the riding of motorcycles in groups of no larger than two, it is only proper that motorcyclists achieve equality for free public highway use.

Motorcyclists pay road tax, generally carry more comprehensive insurance (than simply 3rd party, the loss a machine really requires better coverage), have vehicles tested and certified as road worthy inline with legal requirements, and are better trained and qualified (achieving an A licence is now extremely difficult to do).

Why is it appropriate for Harlow, or any town, to prohibit the use or these vehicles in groups of two or more, on public highways.

This injection needs overturning!

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Courts in the UK are independent of Government and Parliament, so we can’t accept petitions asking for court judgments, including injunctions, to be overturned.
