What the petition asks
For the past number of years, I amongst other students have received the incorrect grades for exams. This has led to huge numbers of remarks and people losing their first choice at university. This spans from GCSEs to A-Levels. Why should we lose out on our future because of inefficiencies?
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We cannot accept your petition because the UK Government or Parliament is not responsible for the issue you raise. Exam boards are independent of Government and Parliament. They are regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), which regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England.
