Make Islington council allow families to stay within the estate they live on

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Currently Islington council have an intra-estate transfer policy available ONLY to 3 of their estates. It is so unfair to the rest of the tenants to be told they can't be given priority to move into a diffrent property but to remain on the same estate just because of the area they live in.
The policy is unfair and not very well explained or advertised.
Giving priority to all families to remain within their local borough only brings positives. It allows them the continuity for employment, schools, nurseries and to be close to their family and friends.
There would be less people on their bidding systems and more happier community.
