Reopen the Carl Bridgewater murder case
Rejected
16 signatures
What the petition asks
Due to a recent revealing TV documentary and the lack of a concrete alibi of any suspect in this case, it is in the public interest that this case is reopened for further investigation
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We cannot accept your petition because reopening the Carl Bridgewater case would be an operational decision for the local police force. This is not something for which the UK Government or Parliament is responsible.
