Introduce a social awareness lesson within the curriculum.

What the petition asks

Bullying and discrimination within schools needs to be stopped. Let's introduce a social awareness lesson to allow youngsters the freedom of speech and allow them to talk about problems open and freely. Educate our youngsters the benefits of talking about problems and acceptance of other people.
By educating youngsters about everyone is different and copes with things in different ways this will allow them to understand others behaviours and attitudes in situations. Mental health is vital within youngsters and allowing them to have a social skills lesson where they can talk about problems and understand that everyone battles life in different ways, and talk about their feelings and worries. Teaching our kids while still young will give them coping mechanisms to deal with different situations and teach them that bullying and discrimination is unacceptable and that not all illnesses/disabilities are visible.
