What the petition asks
Millionaire Sir Bob Geldof made two sustained obscene gestures to fishermen who had turned out to democratically show their concern for their livelihoods.
We the British people found Sir Bob Geldof's obscene gestures inexcusable and disgusting and not befitting a Knight of Queen Elizabeth II in her birthday year. We ask that his Knighthood be taken back to show that this behaviour will not be tolerated against British subjects. We adjudge that it brings shame on the integrity of the Knighthood system that dates back many hundreds of years.
