We would like the referendum on leaving Europe to be cancelled.

What the petition asks
A referendum on whether Britain should leave the EU was called as a way for the Conservative Party to address a minor political threat posed by UKIP. The referendum was unnecessary and reckless, and the campaigning has brought out the worst in our political system. It should be cancelled.
