What the petition asks
I'm calling on the Prime Minister to at the very least postpone the referendum until a later date when the nation can come together in a peaceful and respectful manner and decide on the right course of action for everyone.
Ever since the referendum was called by the Prime Minister on the 20th February, the United Kingdom has become awash with anger and fear thanks in no small part the disgraceful campaigns of misinformation and lies carried out by both sides - Remain and Leave.
I do not believe we as a nation are in any state to make such a huge decision on the future of the United Kingdom - whichever side you sit, I would be embarrassed and ashamed to see the country make such a huge decision right now.
