Protect our pets from Cruelty & Theft. Thousands pets never return home.

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

We, undersigned, demand a change of legislation regarding animal cruelty.
We feel that current legislation is less than satisfactory and not worthy of our reputation as nation of animal lovers nor is reflecting scientific evidence regarding animals capacity to feel discomfort, fear and pain.
We also ask Government to take Dog & Cat Theft seriously, to support Police force in keeping statistics of tens of thousands of stolen pets, many of them never returning home. And to also provide forces with resources to investigate pet theft that would lead to prosecution.

We ask government to follow its people and treat our pets as we do, as a FAMILY,not as worthless property.
We ask the government to stops ignoring issue affecting thousands of us every day, and protects it's animals now.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
