Remove an Abatement order on an 86 year old pensioner and his geese

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

An Abatement order has been placed on 10 geese which Philip Kempley (aged 86) has kept poultry on his land for the last 79 years. After one complaint and no consultation with other residents who are fully supportive of the geese and have no issue with noise.
This petition is for the removal of the Abatement notice which is taking into account other residents and former residents support of the geese as well as other members of the community who feel that this heavy handed approach by Bradford Council is extreme and unnecessary. Philip Kempley should be allowed to continue to care for his geese without fear of being hauled into court every time they make a noise
