Equal pay for women
Rejected

What the petition asks
Why is it that in 2016 women are still being payed an average of £300,000 less than men over their working life? If both a man and a woman do the same job at the same level than why aren’t both men and women being payed the same?
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
It's clear that you're concerned about the gender pay gap, but not clear what action you would like to see. The Government recently announced new measures to address the gender pay gap:

If you would like the Government or Parliament to take additional action, you could start a petition calling for that.
