What the petition asks

For the reasons outlined below we the undersigned request that parliament take into consideration evidence, data and facts from a panel of academics and experts on the benefits and cons of being in the EU before making a final decision on whether or not leave.
Reasons: The EU referendum result is advisory not legally binding; The electorate is so evenly divided; The age demographic bias towards under 50's wanting to remain a member; The impact leaving will have on future generations currently unable to vote; The inaccuracy of some claims made by campaigners; The influence of possible media bias during campaigning; Lack of expertise and insight on key issues amongst the general public.
