London to explore renegotiating EU relationship based on a 60% "remain" vote
Rejected

What the petition asks
In Scotland, a 62% remain vote may trigger another referendum on independence. Scotland being forced to leave the EU against its will is considered "democratically unacceptable". In London, by comparison, the remain vote was 59.9%. We should be given the same choice over our future EU relationship.
Over 600,000 more people in London than in Scotland voted to remain in the EU.
London generates around 20% of the UK's gross domestic product.
