What the petition asks
We, the under 50s who voted overwhelmingly to remain, demand that the future world in which we will have to live is not irrevocably dictated by the leave vote of the over 50s.
Instead, we demand temporary suspension of membership, & a further referendum once the terms of Brexit are clear.
Instead, we demand temporary suspension of membership, & a further referendum once the terms of Brexit are clear.
It is the younger generations that will have to live with the consequences of the EU Referendum. Polls have consistently shown that the under 50s overwhelmingly support remaining in the EU.
We demand that our future in which we and our children will grow up, train, work, and raise our families, is not permanently and irrevocably dictated by the leave vote of the over 50s against our will.
