Call a general election so we don't have an unelected Prime Minister

Rejected 19 signatures

What the petition asks

Following the decision to leave the EU, and David Cameron's decision to step down as Prime Minister a general election should be called to ensure we have a democratically elected PM.
One of the core arguments of the leave campaign was the concern that the EU is ruled undemocratically. To ensure the same cannot be said of the UK government we should not be led by an unelected Prime Minister
