To refuse to implement the referendum decision to leave the EU

Rejected 19 signatures

What the petition asks

While it's true that a majority of the UK public voted to leave the EU, the margin was narrow and the decision will have a long-lasting impact on our young people who according to the YouGov EU Referendum On The Day Poll (23/06/16) voted 3:1 to remain (18-25 yrs). How is it fair to do this to them?

18-24yrs - 75% remain : 25% leave
25-49yrs - 56% remain : 44% leave
